The International Association of Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Societies (IAEMGS) is a global organization composed of 13 regional Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Societies around the world. In Fall 2013 IAEMGS changed its name from International Association of Environmental Mutagen Societies to the current name to better reflect the interests of the member societies. The IAEMGS helps to sponsor a variety of international conferences, including the International Conference on Environmental Mutagens (ICEM), the International Conference on Mechanisms of Antimutagenesis and Anticarcinogenesis (ICMAA), and the International Conference on Environmental Mutagens in Human Populations (ICEMHP), all of which are held every four years. The IAEMGS also provides support for the annual Alexander Hollaender Courses in Genetic Toxicology as well for other meetings of the regional societies. By promoting collaboration and communication among its member societies, the IAEMGS helps in the training and fostering of research in the fields of environmental mutagenesis and genetic toxicology worldwide.
